Halime Gulsu’s brother Irfan speaks up for humanrights

Irfan Gulsu is Halime’s brother. He lives in Canada today. Irfan calls you all to #SpeakUpForHumanRights: “Halime was an English teacher at a private school when she was detained with ‘membership to a terrorist organisation” post-coup in #Turkey… like many hundreds of thousands of others in #Turkey of a failed coup attempt in July 2016.

Halime had a chronic disease that required her to take regular medication. Halime’s requests for her medication was ignored, she was not given proper health care despite her medical reports, her health situation deteriorated quickly in prison, all warnings by her family neglected, and Halime lost her life in prison.”
